Wooden dishes from the Gorski Kotar region
An exclusive line for home and household, Wooden dishes from the Gorski Kotar region, continues the 200-year-old tradition of wood processing in the region.
The following types of wood have been chosen for the production: beech, cherry, walnut, oak and maple. The wood is harvested from the forests managed in accordance with the strict ecological and economic standards, which is confirmed by the FSC® certificate awarded to the material used in the production.
Wooden dishes from the Gorski Kotar region are processed by the machines and then polished by hand. In order for the dishes to keep their beauty and functionality and to make their maintenance simple, the wood is protected by the mixture of natural oils that have no volatile organic compounds (HOC/VOS free). The oil we use is intended for the wood used in the kitchen and kitchen dishes and in accordance with European Standards EN 71-3 and EN 71. As such, the products are completely safe and represent our policy based on ecology and sustainability.
